Hunter

Another busy few weeks! this part of the year is still exctiing for football fans (despite the lack of football) due to the transfer rumours & new kit launches. I was lucky enough to have a piece of work as a part of this years Chelsea FC new kit launch. They have released swapped shirt supplier from Adidas to Nike, so it had to be a BIG launch. And it was!

They employed 2D of Gorillaz to present a funny animated Instagram story that involved him breaking into Stamford Bridge and taking a look at the kit and then getting busted by David Luiz! Alongside this, on the EASPORTSFIFA page, we posted an image of Alex Hunter (the star of The Journey and all round top guy) in the New Chelsea shirt. I am super pleased with how the image turned out. It’s a real hero shot, the skin texture looks great, his body position, the stadium, the lighting all look great. Here is it in all its glory! 

There was an additional piece of work that I helped create. The request was a GIF. It was taken from the shot created for the Journey Teaser, Hunter Celebrating on the Ad board. It works really nicely to hero the shirt & show off the lighting the stadium and has a really nice energy to it!

I didn’t actually create the GIF, that was Carolina who is visiting from the Madrid office, I just supplied the shot that was created for the trailer! 

Like all FIFA stuff does, it’s gone a bit mad. The amount of likes, shares, news articles etc. Here are some of the ones I’ve found.  My favourite is that Nike commented on it!

On a completely separate thread to this Hunter one, this week I also completed my first every Instagram Takeover. I was asked to do so by the lovely people at Photographique in Bristol. I used tot use them to develop my analog film that i used to shoot a lot of (haven’t shot much of it in a while!) But nonetheless I posted 6 pictures that gave people an idea of my work, the shot itself and a bit about me!
