film success

earlier this year I took my Canon AE-1 to Paris for new year and shot a roll of 35mm Ilford 400 colour film of our adventures in the french capital. However, on returning to the UK and winding the film back, popping the back case open, I found the film had be split in half and spooled back out rendering the entire roll useless.

Since then I’ve thought about trying to use it again but haven’t had the confidence to do it, until now! Last week I reloaded the camera with another Ilford 400 Colour film and went on my way.

Turns out the problem with the Paris film was a one off and the camera works perfectly!

I got my photos developed at Photograpique on Corn Street, Bristol. You should too.

Here are the results!
