Fuel Your Fast
July 7, 2024So this will be a longer post than normal because I thought I’d add some behind the scenes bit thats I don’t normally add.
This campaign has taken a long time to come together for a lot of reasons but ultimately I’m proud of it and it’s a step in the right direction in terms of the level of work I want to produce.
We had two shoots, one in Barcelona with Fridolina Rolfo and one in Munich with Kingsley Coman.
This was all for our Q3 ULTRA campaign, working with KODE + 20Something. I have to give a HUGE shout to Amy Greasby & Rory Stiff from 20S as I worked closest with them over the past 6 months and it wouldn’t have happened at all without them. There were a lot of ‘Salty Bois and Spicy Meatballs’ that pulled us through the project.
First up is the imagery, I wanted to create something that football hasn’t seen before which I think we achieved. Reinventing ‘motion blur’ was tough but I think we achieved something own-able, dynamic and super cool. It might not be for everyone, but you gotta try things for push forward with you work.
Next up is the video content. As with any creative process, it was tough, a labour of love and everyone wanted the best outcome. It was a huge effort to pull together the sets in Munich and Barcelona, so massive shout out Jack, Niall and Maria from Falca who are our production partner throughout it all.
The 3D content that was created, in all honesty, I would have liked to have pushed a further but there were a lot of contributing factors in why it’s not quite at the level I want it to be, but you live and learn and its still kind of cool.
Then there are some bonus design elements that Rory worked really hard to developing along side myself, which i really love. I love the lock up and the animation on the logos.
More bonus goods are some 3D animations I made and some early concepts. See Below!
And as promised, heres some behind the scenes content!
