Playoffs

Last weekend I was given the opportunity to photograph at BC Place during the Vancouver Whitecaps vs Seattle Sounders game.

I was tasked with photographing the mascots and once this was completed I was given license to move around the field, photographing whatever I saw.

I wanted to take the shots that I don’t get to see from the football games I watch. 

Its not very often you see photos from football that focus on composition rather than the content. Obviously people want to see goals, celebrations, fights etc etc but its nice to focus on capturing smaller more intimate moments that normally get ignored. My favourite photo is the holding hands photo, we don’t know which player it is, its just important they are clearly looking after their mascot.
