The Golden Controller

Its been another busy couple of weeks, I’ve been out and about shooting a bit and also working on new projects.

In the meantime, lots of my work with EA has gone live, the one which I’m most proud of is the latest TV ad which you can see below, the Golden Controller.

I worked on the gameplay within the trailer. For example, the opening shot of Anthony Martial celebrating, thats my shot! Its crazy to hear from friends back home that they’ve seen it live on TV at home. 

There are lots of other shots in the trailer that I helped with, Its been amazing to work with the guys in the office on this. They’ve been so good in helping me develop my work to suit different formats & situations.

I also worked on a tiny bit of gameplay for the video that EA put live onto their twitter as part of the Black Friday/Cyber Monday promotion. I was asked to create a shot that both showed off the Unicorn kit & also not show too much of it to keep viewers interested! I wanted to make it look a bit different so we used a player as a wipe instead of using a straight cut. I think this works really well for mobile (which is where this will be viewed mostly). I think its a super fun video and the gameplay worked out really well!

My third TV appearance (via Gameplay) happened yesterday too! I worked on the above gameplay footage for the ‘Keys to the Match’ as part of NBC’s coverage of the Chelsea vs Tottenham game. 

The footage looked great before the game (shame about my iPhone video) and i was dead proud to have that many people see my work!

I’ve been working on lots of other things too, which I’ll post about later!
